Attended DRIMS2 summer school on mechanical design, sensors and actuators, fundamentals of vision and control in robotics. The school was held at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced studies in Pisa. Organized by Prof. Calogero Oddo, the week-long summer school from recognized researchers such as Dario Floreano on bio-inspired drones Prof. Alessandro De Luca on the control of physical human-robot interaction, and Prof. Domenico Prattichizzo. Ultimately, we worked in teams to implement an algorithm that, using a robotics manipulator from ABB, would pick and place a dice in the correct orientation. In the hands-on, I could add to the team with my knowledge on software technology on how to manage the code while efficiently implementing correct code.
